Description :	En bois de violette plaqué sur sapin et bronze ciselé et doré. Ce bureau plat repose sur quatre pieds cambrés ornés de chutes rocailles et de sabots en bronze finement ciselés. Alors que des feuilles d'acanthe rythment les trois tiroirs qui ouvrent en façade, deux figures mythologiques, Diane chasseresse et Apollon ornent les côtés galbés.

Historique :	Ce bureau plat aurait appartenu à Claude Chazerat (1728-1827), dernier intendant d'Auvergne de 1773 à 1789. Il est estampillé Migeon, grand ébéniste parisien de l'époque Régence, reçu maître en 1761. Epoque Louis XV. Dépôt de l'Académie des Sciences, Belles Lettres et Arts de Clermont-Ferrand au musée des Beaux-Arts Roger-Quilliot de Clermont-Ferrand (D. 1993.1.1)
