Précision_sur la representation :	Reliquaire morphologique en form de doigt, index ici, au rendu très réaliste (plis, ride, ongle...). Une petite cavité est aménagée sous verre pour les reliques : parcelles d'ossements 'il y a vait deux étiquettes sur parchemin d'une écriture fort ancienne, on y déchiffrait ces mots : Digiti Sancti Joannis...' selon Gomot au 19e siècle. Une petite porte ferme le doigt, armoriée blason de pierre de Giac, chancelier de France de 1383 à 1388, conseiller privé de Charles VI. On retrouve ce blason sur la porte de la sacristie de l'église à Mozac : 'd'or à la bande d'azur accompagnée de six merlettes de sable, trois en chef et trois en pointe'.
