Historique :	Ces panneaux appartiennent à la même série que les panneaux à remplages remployés dans la chaire et qui ont été classés en 1958 (PM63001433). Ces deux panneaux qui étaient passés inaperçus jusqu'à leur inscription, proviendraient de l'église (disparue) de Saint-Germain-le-Petit dont la paroisse fut démembrée au profit de celles d'Usson et de Varennes.

Précision_sur la representation :	Le panneau formant la clôture du guichet situé au côté gauche du confesseur présente, sur un fond de mouchettes, une salamandre accroupie sur son arrière-train, la tête retournée vers l'arrière et laissant pendre de sa bouche une langue qui tombe jusqu'au sol. Elle possède des oreilles pointues, rabattues, et des pieds griffus. Une sorte de palmette occupe l'autre moitié de ce panneau. Le second panneau présente un réseau de mouchettes enroulées à leur base autour d'un bouton circulaire.
